2735 West 2nd Avenue, on Vancouver's west side
IS IT A BED AND BREAKFAST INN OR A WINE MUSEUM?
IT'S BOTH!
One of a kind Vancouver B&B accommodations
Our inn is a carefully restored 1912 Craftsman style home, a showcase of stained glass artistry,
and a museum of antique objects related to the making and enjoyment of wine. We designed the Corkscrew Inn to be the type of place
we like to stay when we're away - comfortable, luxurious, and full of interesting things.
The ideal Kits location for your Vancouver vacation
We could live anywhere in Vancouver, and we choose here. From our quiet, tree-lined
residential street in the convenient and popular Kitsilano neighbourhood on Vancouver's west side,
you can stroll two blocks south to a variety of shops and good restaurants. Walk a block and a half north and you're on a
Pacific Ocean beach. We'll loan you a picnic basket.
Granville Island, downtown Vancouver, world-class shopping along Robson Street, the cruise ship terminals,
Vancouver's renowned Stanley Park, and the University
of British Columbia with its public golf course and Pacific Spirit Park trails are only a
few minutes away by car, and we are well served by public transit - especially to UBC and to the downtown core.
Moving to Vancouver? Make the Corkscrew Inn your base of operations as you search for
your new home.
Nothing is mundane at the Corkscrew Inn, Kitsilano's award-winning luxury bed and breakfast
We bake bread, we smoke wild salmon, we grow our own grapes for jelly... breakfast is an event
at The Corkscrew Inn.
Our guest rooms are furnished in distinctive styles complementing their theme corkscrews, and have en-suite bathrooms,
cable television, telephones and a variety of luxury amenities. Several rooms feature fireplaces and soaker tubs. All but one have
private balconies overlooking the gardens. You can connect to the Internet (wired and wireless) throughout the house, in the wine
cellar museum, and on the spacious verandas.
Business and holiday travellers will appreciate the home-away-from-home conveniences: chill your wine; iron your linen;
make a pot of tea; share a glass with friends in the wine museum; relax with a newspaper in an easy chair at the end of
the day.
