Fall Foliage (Leaf Peeping)
Eastern Canada and the New England region are famous around the world for the brilliance of their "fall foliage," and a seasonal tourist industry has grown up around the few weeks in autumn when the leaves are at their peak. Some television and web-based weather forecasts even report on the status of the fall foliage throughout the season as a service to tourists. Fall foliage tourists are often referred to as "leaf peepers".

The Boston By Foot October Tour of the Month.
Art Deco is one of those architectural styles recognizable to most Americans. Lavish and eclectic, Art Deco geometric shapes conjure images of a streamlined technological age reflected in the emergence of skyscrapers, aviation and telecommunications through the 1920's and 1930's. While many look to other cities like New York and Miami for Art Deco in architecture, Boston retains a rich collection and some of the finest examples in the country.
