Although there have been a few mishaps in the past ( all of which were my fault, due to rushing), TCG has continued to provide me with great service with regards to booking hotels in every city that I happen to travel to with my business in Mainland China. We were very happy with the TCG booking service. We found it easy to use, and oh surprise, when we arrived in Xi'an, our reservation was on record and our room waiting for us. My overall stay at the Colorful Days Hotel was really great. The rooms are nice and the staff made sure to get our rooms clean as well the laundry service comes in handy if you don't pack enough clothing. What was really great is how friendly the staff was there always standing and greeting us with a smile as we walked in and always willing to help us as they could. It was also nice when I absolute had to I could change currency with them. The location was really nice the street its on is lined with restaurants as it is "food street" all them are very comfortable and have great atmosphere. The hotel itself I have stayed at both a standard room and a view room. Both are nice but the regular room the window just opens up to see the street and the view room is about the same but they planted trees in front of it so it masked the street. The staff was pretty good and always willing to help when they could the rooms were pretty well cleaned when we got back. One trouble we had was the taxi drivers had a hard time knowing this hotel, it is very near the south gate of the zoo there so we could use that as a reference for them to get us there. Booking through TCG was great; it made it easy to get the hotel room all lined up for us and gave me enough information to get my visa. My fiancée took care of getting the keys so I don't know about the English skills there at the hotel but TCG sent me some helpful information that would at least make me confident that i could get to the hotel.
